April 21st... 3 of us fished the lake on 4/19. Good variety and some nice size
fish! Perch, crappie, largemouth, smallmouth and walleye - all nice fish! Got
sun- burned early on but once it clouded up the bite was on! Water temp was
mid to upper 50s. The spring bite is here... Tom

April 21st...Fished the lake Saturday. I caught 2 largemouths, 3 perch and 1
walleye. My two friends even caught a few fish. Water temp high fifties... Curt

April 26th... Does anyone know the water temp? I haven't been to the lake
lately. I'm waiting for the floating docks to be installed. I have a bad leg and
it's hard getting in and out of my boat without the docks. Thanx... Jim

April 28th... Jim, I fished there yesterday. The docks aren't in, the water
temperature was 65 - 70 degrees. We caught some smallmouth and a

May 2nd... Caught 3 nice bass this morning using black Beetle Spin. One
bass was about four pounds. Using a "do nothing" retrieve very slow off
bottom. This weekend might be a waste of time with that cold front moving
in. By the way, the floating docks have been installed... Jim

May 5th... Fished about 3 hours and caught a couple decent bass. Red,
double-bladed spinnerbait. Fish were very shallow. Crank the bait as fast
as you can. Fish will strike a fast lure when they are aggressively feeding.
Fishing is pretty good about 200 feet past the second bench up from the
canoe launch. Good rocky bottom attracts smallmouth and walleye... Jim
