Topo Maps Of West Branch Of Susquehanna River Channel Running Through Curwensville Lake
Topo Map of Curwensville Lake and Dam showing
where the West Branch of the Susquehanna River
channel runs through the lake. A channel like this
holds a tremendous amount of bass, especially a
deep, outside bend that runs in close to the shore.
Lower area where the river enters the lake. Note the
channel running near the shore on the two outside
bends. Salt tubes work well here for big smallmouth
This area has the deepest water-- forty feet.
The channel running through this part of the
lake supports the largest population of fish
because of its relation to this deeper water.
