Curwensville Lake - 3000 Adult-Size Walleye Successfully Stocked On Sunday, October 22, 2006!
Over 100 people were present Sunday to help stock 3000 adult-size walleye in Curwensville Lake and it's river basin. $5,000.00 was
spent acquiring the fish from a certified hatchery owned by Eric and Tina Nord, Jamestown, New York. Also on hand to help was Gigi
Gearhart, Manager of Northwest Savings Bank, Phyliss Bressler, Vice President, Clearfield Chamber of Commerce, Bill Rishel, Clear-
field Chamber of Commerce, Pat Domico, Clearfield Chamber of Commerce, Terry Malloy, Jim's Sports Center, Sandy Fink-Barrett,
Director, Clearfield County Recreation & Tourism Authority and Ron Lippert, Kuntz Lawn Furniture who brought some dynamite chili
and coffee for all! Special mention goes out to Allen Wilkinson of Wilkinson Subaru for his considerable donations. Coming Soon...
This summer the Curwensville Anglers Restocking Program will be installing boat and canoe access points at various locations along
the banks of our river system and will also be installing various types of structure to accomodate the fish habitat in Curwensville Lake.
